i was download some songs, and i searched for "2pac" and a song called "Linkin Park- Tupac Tribute" came up, i downloaded it thinking its a joke, well it turns out to be no joke.... these faggots make a pac tribute, WTF......... thats worse than P and them no limit clowns makein a tribute...

if they were fans of his and admired his work then why isn't acceptable to pay homage to him? To me it just shows respect and how his legacy and influence can touch those that don't necessarily make the same music as him.

That just goes to show how far Pac's influence went. So what if the tribute is coming from a different genre of music. Good for them. Music is a universal language.

The tribute isn't actually done by Linkin Park. It's been stated on their official message boards that they never recorded a 2Pac tribute. Below is a quote from the LPUnderground, their fan club message boards.
Tupac and Biggie Tribute: This is a song by a group called City Clay, which was recorded as a tribute to Tupac Shakur and Biggie Smalls. On many P2P programs, it's labeled as featuring Linkin Park and a bunch of other rappers/bands. This led people to think Mike was rapping in the song, but LP was not involved in it in any way.
