after arriving back from a 2 week holiday in gran canaria :-X
it was a great holiday but i feel like shit - a combination of jet lag, exhaustion & being skint is taking it's toll on me :-\
anyone else going away on a holiday soon?? ;D

last went away for a long weekend about 6 weeks ago

once i did a shift from 7am to 3am after i had been drinking all night long. and it was when i worked at kfc/tacobell when i was 17. felt like shit and i will never work at fast food ever again.

I might be going down to San Diego/Mexico and Vegas again. Might be wishful thinking though.

I don't know about leaving the state, but renting a cabin up north on a lake for the weekend would be cool. I used to go every year with my family, but they don't want to go anymore.
And those overnights are killer. When I worked at a gas station a block away I used to work from 11pm to 7am regularly. It really messed my sleeping habit up. Then when I worked at Foot Locker in the Mall of America, I used to pull double shift a lot. From 12pm to 3am cause my manager was a neat freak and no one could leave until the store was perfect.

i work nights every day(night) from 11:00pm - 7:30am.....My worlds been upside down all summer. That shift really sucks hard

went camping for a week last week. it was by the Finger Lakes in NY. wasn't that good of a time, it was nice to relax and just chill, but some friends brought all thier technology.... laptop, portable dvd player, portable sound system....kind of took away from the great outdoors
the flies were terrible, but the weather was pretty good
and night shifts suck
in japan i stood a 12 hour night watch before i went on vacation, 2 hour ride to tokyo, a 4 hour delay, a 13 hour flight to new jersey where my flight was canceled and i ended up sleeping on a bench in the newark airport because it was 2 in the morning, i didn't know the area and there was a chance i'd get on a flight at 7am
i felt like shit for about 4 days afterwards
