i know that dubcc doesnt know me that well but whatever.. i want to spread the news lol. I got my first job today as a receptionist at paramount properties real estate company. I'm starting off with 9 $ an hour and i work mon-fri from 9 a.m to 6 p.m... IM SO HAPPY! i just had to tell everyone i know lol. I JUST DONT KNOW HOW IM GOING TO BALLANCE COLLEGE AND A JOB... so what do u guys do?

I'm 19 and I make only $8 an hour at one job, $7.45 at the other. That's Canadian currency too, like 82% of US I believe.

yea at 17 i started of with 7, then got 8, and now im 19 and get 9$ , which is pretty good.

I get 10 an hour, i used to work doing demolition and i made $60 a day, flat rate pay....it did not matter if we finished at 12 or 4 (when we are supposed to) if we finish, thats about it

Im 18 and I earn 4,30 euros p/h through the week and 6,45 euros @ saturdays. and that's above average :P

18 seems old to get a first job. I started working when I was 16 and did odd jobs like cutting grass, babysitting and working on a farm once when I was 13. My folks don't have much money though so I have to provide for myself.

yea i used to babysit also but thats chump change.. im sorry about the cutting grass job though that must have sucked ass. :-\

ive only cut grass like 2s in my life, im sorry , but $ or noi $ , that is the biggest pain in the ass ever, but snow shoveling, my parents make me do that every time it snows, but i time wen i was like 13 me and my friend we did that for money, made out over 100 each, i was happy as fuck.

snow shoveling, damn,.....wanna hear something sad...i have never seen snow before in my life, the closest ive been to snow is a grip of hail at my house, or when the city brings the snow slide with santa to the park...every winter my friends go up to the mountains but i always seem to not go, for one reason or another...this year WILL be the year though

i'm working for 100 $ /month and I have to pay my 500$ college tax...and i'm telling you the shit too hard, but "that's just the way life goes"...I hope I will find somethin else...like 5$ for hour because that's WAAY too much for me, period.
