you know from camcorder to computer i only have til my cousin wakes up to copy this video and put everything back before she finds out, so help would be appreciated

If you want something good, you'll have to go to a store and buy it. I used to use Adobe 5.1 but that's like $500 and it takes up 3 gigs.
Otherwise if you have a webcam hooked up, there is usually a program that comes with it that captures video also.

lmao no, i kno lots about capturing/encoding the best capture program around is VirtualDub (freeware) without a doubt.. download it here http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/virtualdub/VirtualDub-1.6.10.zip?download then you can use TMPGEnc to encode either to VCD, SVCD or DVDR ur choice ;) unless u just want it on your computer as avi then i'd have to say go with vdub

I've never used anything that isn't professional and had to pay for so you are probably right. The last thing I've used to capture video is an Avid.
