Why not put him out trough Aftermath to promote him instead of putting it out on just Interscope? Quik might not get paid as much for the album sales but he'll damn sure sell way more than he can on his own

Nas? He is the type of rapper that wouldn't fit on Interscope AT ALL. He needs artistic freedom instead of instructions from Iovine to create popchart ready songs. There's no way he would sign with Aftermath.
Redman? I love what he's done in the past. It seems like he fell of somewhat with his last album, but him on Aftermath? Hell fucking no. He just won't fit in, I don't think. Arguable tho.
Ras Kass... Dope rapper, has sounded dope over Dre beats in the past... But how to market Ras Kass for the masses? That would be a mission impossible.
Lil E, he's cool and all that, and he could do some real dope things with Dre and them behind his project, but he seems too raw to really drop an album on Aftermath. He's someone who would refuse to make the necessary club songs.
Jayo Felony... He's not amazing imo, but he could do some nice things with Dre behind his album. I don't think he would blow up BIG tho. Not like Game, Eminem and 50.

My guess: Dre signed some unknown underground rapper whose name we don't even know yet.
