Quik's verses are different but Luda's is the same and the hook's the same too, all in all this song sounds 100x better to me, better mixed, better verses.. everything just comes together like its supposed to, more bass etc..

Catch 22 doesnt sound like anything he has ever done or even like anything on this album. Album's great. I only dont like that its 44 mins long. Too, too short for 3 and half years ive been waiting on the new album.

I get the same feel as I did when I heard Under Tha Influence for the first time, the production sounds similar at some places. And you can tell his flow evolved over the years, its kind of more agressive now. Its not a bad thing but it's not the laid back Quik he used to be on previous albums (B&O, Rhythmalism). But overall a pretty good album, only track I'm not really feeling is "Catch 22". I gotta listen to it some more to really be able to judge. Quikstrumental with Jodeci is amazing. I wish there was more tracks though.

Great CD.....I even like the track T.I is on, has a tight beat.....upon my first listen I also think its better then UTI.....but UTI has better quality songs e.g 50 Ways, a Quik classic....Black mercedes is fuckin tight, im a lil dissapointed that he never used the talkbox on Intro For Roger, i know he said he wanted to go past that stage but it would have been nice.

I'm 100% happy with this album. I'm glad too see him doing his own thing without Suga Free, Hi-C and them. Not that they really hold him back, but it's just nice to see him on his own. The production on this album is amazing, quality wise, and conceptually. I like his flow too, it's more aggresive than he's been doing.
It's kinda cool that the tracks on The Trauma Mixtape won't be on the LP, that just makes the mixtape more of a collectable. I'm glad I got 2.
And no question I'll be buying this.

Yea it definitely sounds like a solid album. After first listen, I'd probably say 8/10 but that might be higher after I hear it some more and it sinks in. It reminds me of how Chronic 01 was when I first heard it, it was dope but it took a lotta listens to sink in because the sound on there was different than usual. Quik's beats are only repetitive as far as some of the vibes go and the drums and basslines on certain tracks, but most of these tracks dont sound like anything Quik has done before. He's experimentin with a lotta diff instruments on here.

shit's addictive as fuck. the beats are CRAZY. i can't believe some people are disappointed with them. and quik does his thing lyrically. as a whole it's real entertaining, very coherent, different from everything else out right now and perfectly mixed and mastered (haven't heard a sound that crisp since dre's 2001). i have a feeling this will be slept on as a muthufucka.

My god, this album is fucking brilliant. Esp. if you like horns in your music and shit, its one of the records with the most advanced production put out this year... and quik comes real tight too. I don't usually ride Quik's dick like this, but this album is incredible. Even Chingy comes tight :-[.

Yeah, and "Jet Set," thats definitely one of Quik's deepest songs ever. Damn I love that song. This whole album is banging, front to back, the only track I'm not feeling a lot is "Til Jesus Comes," but even that one still bangs.

This album is on the level of Rthymalism and Balance and Options. Every fuckin song on this shit bangs like a mutha. This is an easy 4.5 mics.
