Why w.c. mc's never come to europe???
fanbase is big over there! i mean...i wanna see WC,mack 10, dpg...
i think it's about time they come in europe!
only snoop and Game were in europe!!

I'm from Holland and I have seen Snoop, DPG, Nate Dogg, Soopafly, Warren G, Xzibit, The Game, DJ Quik (DJ-ing for The Game) , Dove Shack, Twinz, 5 Footaz, Roger & Zapp, Charlie Wilson... but nowadays they don't travel overseas that much. It's too expensive and you need a big ass label behind you to finance those trips to Europe. Only a coule of artists can do that. But I have seen a lot of westcoast legends in Holland. Hopefully I can see DJ Quik perform in Holland one day...

Wrong, Its all on the Promoters, Labels Dont have shit to do with touring..... Ask Promoters in your area to put a show on, bet they will if u tell them enough times.....It's All On The Promoters, Give Them a CD to listen to and if they like it, then they will prob. do it

shit is worse down here in montreal, there are shows of big stars in every city in canada, but they all stay out of the province of quebec. i dont want to go to toronto to see a show, why they don't come here, that makes me angry against rappers, i'm tired to hear about a iron maiden show 6 times per year but nothin for hip hop heads.

it´s not really the promoters fault coz i know some promoters who´s been tryin to get Jayo,Quik,C-Bo and Yukmouth over here but they want a lot more money then they are worth. they can´t come to a small country in Europe expecting to get paid as much as they would be paid for a pretty big show in LA coz their auidence just isn´t as big over here. and if they would come over here and put on a great show their fan base would grow and in the end it would only meen more money for them. gotta give Yuk props though coz he´s been over in Europe a lot(especially in Germany).

well,...it's not that expensive for promoters/organizers if they would do a european tour! it's a lof of money if they would bring them only for one show!...but if they would do like 10 concerts, than it's less money i think...but then u must also pay the money for hotels and shit, transport...i don't know:)
and also u have festivals like Splash in Germany...and u see only mc's from the east coast are performing! and this is fucked up!!
it's not like 15 years ago...westcoast hip hop is big right now! ieven bigger than east! somebody should do somethin about it...coz mc's from the west must know, they have a lot of fans in europe!!!

somebody should do A westcoat festival every year...in europe! maybe Germany! and to bring like 10 mc's ...or groups...and everybody would do like 3 or 4 songs...so they would not take the full price, like for a full concert! so it would be less money to pay them, i'm sure people will come...+ before the festival some local german mc's could rap....i'm sure people would come...and the organizers would get their money back!

I remember that Snoop was gonna do a big European tour with Tha Eastsidaz and Tha Liks in 2001 - with a show in Finland included. Nobody ever comes here, I was amped to go see these guys.
But then - some muthafuckas hit a plane into the World Trade Center and the tour was cancelled 'cause everybody was so fuckin afraid to fly. >:( Fuckin terrorists.

I know Big Syke, Daddy V, Warren G, RBX & The Lady of Rage (with Snoop) were in France too.

Have to keep your eyes open son. Pete Rock was here over new years and Immortal Technique. Xzibit played in December and just watched TechN9ne/Obie Trice/D12/KiD CuDi. Got My ticket for Krs-One in march, The Game is playin in Feb and Ice Cube in April, with Lupe Fiascu/Diddy & Rick Ross. Outlawz and Dogg Pound played last year and I see DJ Quik will be here in March (just Sydney I think)
Heaps more have been as well, I've been to Cube twice, Nas, J5, Public Enemy, Luniz, Dru Down, Paris. Hopsin was here last year also and Odd Future was support for Kanye West.

obviously the thread dates back from 7 years now... things were a bit different in 05. nowadays you got everybody and their mama touring everywhere in Europe... just in France over the few years people have managed to get WC, Lil B, Ice Cube, DJ Quik, MC Eiht, Too $hort, DPG, Snoop, and even lesser known rappers like Jay Tee from N2Deep, Daddy V... Rappin' 4 Tay had a show scheduled last year too (it was canceled though)... Mistah Fab was in Paris yesterday, maybe he still is... a few months ago they even organized a Foesum show somewhere in the projects in the south of the paris area...
there are westcoast acts who only manage to make a living through their overseas fanbase... in Europe & in Japan, it's their newfound eldorado so if you fly them out they'll come. but even big mainstream acts, or old legends touring are more willing to come than before... with the boom of the social networks, everybody's not as hard to get as before

They did have the West Coast Festival in Amsterdam (http://www.dubcnn.com/events/westcoastfestival-amsterdam2009/) (one of the best shows i've ever seen) . I'm not sure if dubcnn was involved in events in other countries.
