Title: A letter to Infinite...
Post by: Bill O Reilly on September 14, 2005, 06:27:15 PM
Suppose, Infinite, that an aluminum siding salesman came to your brick home and proceeded to inform you of the benefits of aluminum siding day and night, without regard to the fact that brick homes need no such siding, and repeated himself endlessly and refused to leave your living room to allow you to discuss subjects there that interested you. Wouldn't you, at some point, lose your Muslim virtue of patience and hustle him bodily from your home? Notwithstanding his sincere desire to sell you something that he himself has benefitted from and in which he believes most thoroughly? Wanting to do you good, no matter how inappropriate to your personal situation? How much patience has even a saint?

In short, Infinite, that is what you and your sincere, fundamentalist friends are doing here. You have read the Koran (i hope), and developed your own (or more likely accepted your religious leader's) interpretation of it, and because you are an outsider to the rest of society, you do not understand the good and the bad that the world encounters on a daily basis.

You are as convinced that we need your particular vision and version of religion, just as much as that siding salesman is convinced that everyone needs aluminum siding. People who live in brick houses don't need aluminum siding, and atheists, along with religious church (or synagogue) going people here don't need a new religion. My advice is that you stop trying to divert your growing pains in to religious nonsense in the hopes that you will convince us you're not just another depressed, lost kid. Be yourself. Thank you.

You know who I think is annoying? That young man under the alias C Walker who pretends to be an American when he is really from Europe and tarnishes the American name by spreading hate and slander throughout this forum. Shame on him from a real American.

Yeah, he really is. LOOLLLLL here is CWalker sucking some dick, and then getting dick-slapped.

How ignorant do you have to be to continually post stupid comments like the one above and still consider yourself  a good conservative?  The fact that modern republicans like yourself think of Bill O'Reilly and Rush Limbaugh as genuine conservatives says a lot of bad things about the state of conservativism in America.

Do you honestly think of conservative thinkers like Adam Smith, Abraham Lincoln, or Alexander Hamilton would be happy to know modern day republicans hold up Bill OReilly, Limbaugh, and Ann Coulter as an exemplar of what it means to be conservative?  Give me a break, they'd be disgusted to find out that American politics degraded to the point where Bill, Rush, Sean and Ann are actually considered conservative thinkers.

It is called neo conservativism. Learn about it.

Besides, Adam Smith....didn't he live like 300 years ago or so? Obviously things change.

You're talking out of your ass.  No respectable conservative listens to that crap.  I'll give you a better example since you wanna play games... do you really think Francis Fukuyama is proud to know Bill, Sean, Ann, and Brit Hume now apparently represent the movement he helped create?

Yeah no shit lol I think that was my main point.  Things do change, a once impressive ideology was ransacked by a bunch of hacks and fake conservatives like yourself let it happen.
