Snoop made one classic album, and his lyrics have become very repetitive as of late. Pac, on the other hand, put more emotion into lyrics and was way more diverse than Snoop was, especially when it came to subject matter. Plus, Pac made 3 classic albums.

I agree, 2Pac was much better than Snoop Dogg, Every album 2Pac released was either very good or classic. Snoop only made one classic album the rest are good, average or poor. Snoop Dogg now sounds boring, soft and raps too slow. 2Pac had more emotion, the songs Snoop tried to put emotion into were nowhere near as good as Dear Mama or Keep Ya Head Up. 2Pac did political rap like Trapped, White Mans World or Wordz of Wisdom. Snoop hasn't really done any of that. 2Pac could make every song he rapped on good and you could feel everything he said.

PAC WITOUT A DOUBT, tha only thing snoop had on pac was flow, an know snoops flow aint even as good as pac's, pac had great flow, but when snoop was on top of his game, its proberly tha best rap has ever seen. When it came to emotion, pac, no rapper had that. Subject matter, pac easily witout a doubt. Pac 3 classics, snoop had one, pac never went wack like snoop. He put out some heat b4 death row like on Me Against The World and other albums but nothing compared to All Eyes on Me!!! Not every1 knew who 2pac was till he dropped All Eyes on Me!! Got love for Snoop, but my choice is 'Pac, no doubt about it. & those who say 'Pac was nothing special lyrically need to think again, yeah he wasn't the best lyracist & he had some simplistic rhymes at times but shit he had alot of great rhymes, c'mon now, I could post up hundreds of examples.

No matter if it was a good move or not). He became the most popular rapper of the USA. He repped WEST COAST till he died. Nobody did it before. Like him. He made 3 videos totally dedicated to Cali!!! (2 for Cali love and To Live & Die In L.A.). He repped Death Row. His label. He repped the Dogg Pound when Snoop was having hella problems. He changed Daz and Kurupt's names and gave them a chance to make tracks on All Eyez On Me. He changed their minds (i'm quoting Daz) and elevated them on another whole level. From lazy to workaholics (i'm still quoting them). Etc.. He was a leader. THE leader.
I'm still waiting for Snoop to take the WEST on his shoulder now that it aint on top no more and to make it THA SIDE again. He got the money now. He got his own record label now. He got everybody that wanna work with him now. No excuses. He's still wanted.

Snoop basically had a kick start over 'Pac career wise, I mean he had back up from Dre & he was all over The Chronic (one of the greatest & most influencial hip-hop LP's ever) & like tonio said he had one of the most promoted & hyped up album releases ever (Doggystyle). 'Pac has sustained platinum + status even after his death, that's something in itself, he continues to gain fans every day, he continues to make an impact to this very day & I know this could go for Snoop too but 'Pac is something else. Both have VERY impressive career's & it's quite hard to choose between them but I think 'Pac's achievements (considering everything thats happened) take on Snoop's slightly. They're both legends in the game anyways, not every rapper can or will ever achieve that.

(2 for Cali love and To Live & Die In L.A.). He repped Death Row. His label. He repped the Dogg Pound when Snoop was having hella problems. He changed Daz and Kurupt's names and gave them a chance to make tracks on All Eyez On Me. He changed their minds (i'm quoting Daz) and elevated them on another whole level. From lazy to workaholics (i'm still quoting them). Etc.. He was a leader. THE leader.

PAC WITOUT A DOUBT, tha only thing snoop had on pac was flow, an know snoops flow aint even as good as pac's, pac had great flow, but when snoop was on top of his game, its proberly tha best rap has ever seen. When it came to emotion, pac, no rapper had that. Subject matter, pac easily witout a doubt. Pac 3 classics, snoop had one, pac never went wack like snoop.
