Means that he was married & had 2 daughters, and that they now continue in life without their husband/father

» WWE Superstar Eddie Guerrero Passes Away.
WWE.com has just posted that Eddie Guerrero has passed away in his hotel room in Minneapolis.
Guerrero, son of legendary Mexican Wrestler Gory, was found dead in his hotel room where he was resting before a TV Taping later this evening. He was scheduled to wrestle for the World Heavyweight Championship against Batista and Randy Orton.
Eddie, 38 years old, was survived by his wife and two daughters. He wrestled in World Championship Wrestling and Extreme Championship Wrestling before becoming a main stay at World Wrestling Entertainment.
No other news has been released regarding his death.

It was thought that Eddie was going to win the title from Batista as he's due to vanish for some surgery
Taken from Rajah.com
Eddie was scheduled to wrestle the injured World Heavyweight Champion Batista and Randy Orton in a triple threat match for the title at tonight’s SmackDown! tapings. The match was put together as a way to take the title off Batista, who will be having surgery very soon. Guererro was heavily favored to win the title this evening
-
wow thats crazy, it had to be drugs
-
fucking crazy.. my favorite wrestler now too, RIP Eddie
-
Ok that just caught me off guards! I was browsing wrestling news and expected some "regular" news but DAMN, Eddie was just one of the only wrestlers to be a Top Wrestler/ Entertainer. He gave it all to his job and put all the pressure on himself, he was maybe about to become WWE Champion .. I feel bad for his family/friends. I hope it's just some crazy rumor but I know it's true :-\
R.I.P Eddie Guerrero
-
Chavo Guerrero better drop that gay Kerwin White gimmick in tribute to him.. i hope raw puts on a banger tommorow night in memory of Latino Heat
-

Too true, hopefully WWE will have a decent tribute for Latino Heat and not just an announcemnt before the show then forget about it
-
They will dedicate this Week's Raw and Smackdown to Eddie Guerrero... They held a press conference this afternoon with Chavo Guerrero and Vince, it willbe up @ wwe.com shortly
-
shocking :o
RIP
-
fuck man i cant believe it!!!! R.I.P. to one of the greatrest wrestlers to step foot in the ring....
-
R.I.P. Eddie, you were way too young & will be sadly missed

NO FUCKIN' WAY!!!!!!!
Fuck the PPV and his upcoming title run n shit like that, the guy has fuckin' kids. That's awful. I'm in total shock. He was by far one of my favorite wrestlers since he was re-hired by the WWE and one of the top 5 Smackdown champs.
I guess either he got back on the pain killers or the effect from them in the past plus being on the road did him in. I really hope that his death doesn't go in vain and the government forces WWE to do drug tests and be more humane to their performers.
RIP Eddie Guerrero
-
http/www.wwe.com is updated with a Press conference from Vince and Chavo...
-
damn this is shocking...Eddie was one of the best to ever do it. I haven't watched wrestling in awhile but if I was watching one of his matches I knew I would be entertained.
R.I.P. :(

-
Without a doubt, the biggest tragedy to hit professional wrestling. Seriously, shocking news. Unbelievable performer, one of the greatest of all time.

Damn RIP
-
:'(
-
I'm thinking it was the long term effects of abuse with medication and on his body from the ring. He celebrated his 4 years of sobriety a few days ago plus he's turned his life around and became a born again Christian. You never know though. I'm still in shock.
-
r.i.p. Eddie
i styll cant believe this, he was one of my fav wrestlerz
both the Raw and Smackdown showz shceduled for tonite are gonna be Eddie tributez and will show mostly the real side of wrestlerz rather than their gimmickz
-
:( That sucks. I feel for his fam. Eddie was always cool. I'm glad for his sake he got his life together before he passed.
-
It definitely wasn;t suicide because he died brushing his teeth. Most likely heart failure.
-
I haven't been this saddened by a wrestler's death since Owen Hart. Seems like alot of the guys from the late 80's-early 90's era seem to pass away more frequently, but Eddie died in his prime. 38's way too young to die. He'll definitely be missed.
-
damn LAtino Heat!!!!!!!!
R.I.P
-
sad ass fuckin day....fuck, grew up watchin this guy...you don't think you'd be sad..but damn, i miss him
R.I.P Eddie

They should have had a big bossman tribute show, he and eddie were one of my all time favorites. Crash Holly Too with the 24/7 Hardcore title, that was classic stuff man
-
Big Show was in tears during his match. :-\
Poorr Beniot...i knew him and Eddie were real good buddies.

This had been one of the best Raw's ever
Very emotional

Smackdown has different matches & different tributes. Both shows were taped at the same time & so they taped 4 hours of tributes to Eddie.
Chavo will be wrestling on Smackdown, as will Chris Benoit
-
Good show tonight. Major props to Shawn Michaels for letting Ray get the win over him. Helluva match. I liked the gesture that Cena made at the end by putting the belt at the bottom of the eddie shirt in the center of the ring. Class Raw.
-
my goodness...he died?? I haven't heard of this..how he die? :'(
-
Big Show was in tears during his match. :-\

Big show cried? If that big dude cried...man..it's one hell of emotional time. :'(
Yeah man, biggest dude have the biggest hearts. Batista was breakin' down too.
Very emotional Raw. You can tell it hit them all hard. The matches were pretty amazing as well in tribute of Eddie. I might actually stay home Friday and watch Smackdown.
-
damn...I have not watched wrestling in a minute but I had to check out tonight's Raw. I know that it is extremely hard for Chavo, Chris & Rey and many others that spoke or suited up for the taping. I loved it when Eddie was champion, I couldn't believe that they let him wear the title but he definitely deserved it. He was the total package of a class entertainer and will be missed.
R.I.P. Eddie

That shit was hard for me , to me he represented latinos in a sport made up of mostly caucasians he made me even more proud to be mexican. Then he was more like a father figure to me since I had no father to be there for me, I looked up to him for a long time and yesterday when I found out it was pretty hard for me.
-
Anyone remember the episodes (cant think of a word for ongoing storyline) where eddy was tryin 2 get Chyna 2 go out on a date with him?? And he brung roses 2 the ring n shit....i thought that was classic. I guess its about now everyhing Eddy done will be appreciated much more, and rightly so he never got the respect he was due, his title reign should have been longer IMO.....so has chavo dropped that stupid gimmick or what??.....were they real brothers/cousins or wotever?..........
-
this is just too sad.... R.I.P.
-
Last night's raw was the best in years, really humbling seeing how hard it hit those guys, seeing triple h, shawn michaels, big show, kurt angle, batista, rey mysterio, chris benoit, shane mcmahon and just about everyone crying was crazy. They were crying before and after matches, it was real emotional. Half the people in the crowd were crying, but the constant "we love eddy" chants were awesome to hear, really touching, peace.

HHH isn't an asshole, he just never breaks character. Him @ the undertaker are the only two I know of that do that.
Stephanie's really sweet in person, the bitch thing on t.v. is 100% act, I worked for a Limo company that drove around tons of stars, she was one of the nicest people in the entire company when we would go work an event. She'd go out of her way to make the drivers feel at home (even though it wasn't her job) and remembered people's names, would bring them food, all kinds of shit like that. Total class act and really generous, a beautiful person.
I imagine Shane is too, I've never heard anything bad about him at all.

Vickie Guerrero speaks on Eddie's autopsy report
Nov. 15, 2005
After the untimely passing of Eddie Guerrero, WWE and the entire sports-entertainment community is still reeling from the devastating loss of a champion. The initial autopsy reports on Guerrero have come in. WWE.com spoke with Eddie’s widow, Vickie Guerrero, earlier today.
“It was heart failure. It was from his past – the drinking and the drug abuse. They found signs of heart disease. She (the examiner) said that the blood vessels were very worn and narrow, and that just showed all the abuse from the scheduling of work and his past. And Eddie just worked out like crazy all the time. It made his heart grow bigger and work harder and the vessels were getting smaller, and that’s what caused the heart failure. He went into a deep sleep.
As soon as they saw his heart, they saw the lining of his heart already had the heart disease. There was no trauma, and Eddie hadn’t hurt himself in any way. It answered a lot of questions. I knew Eddie wasn’t feeling very good for the last week. He was home and kept saying he wasn’t feeling good and we thought it was just “road tired.” So we thought he just had to rest. It answered a lot of my questions, too, because he was just so exhausted. She said it was normal because the heart was working so hard.
When he didn’t call me last night and the night before I knew it was for real, because he would call me every night. I miss his phone calls. I cried through the whole thing (last night).
I loved his laugh. His laugh was the best.
We just celebrated his four-year sobriety last Thursday. We just thought we had life by the handful. We thought we had it all figured out. He worked so hard to make a better life for us.
I’m just overwhelmed by how people are coming out. It’s touched my heart a lot.
Everybody was just in awe last night in how beautifully everything was put together.
All my life was wrestling. All he did was take care of them and live for that. And I don’t know what to do now.”

-
isn't honkytonk man related to Jerry Lawler?
yeah they are cousins but don't care too much for each other.
I've already thought about what he said as far as Vince McMahon and ratings, and when Vince can do the things he does you wouldn't put it past him. I still think that the show was tasteful and a great tribute to Eddie. It was sad but good to see his colleagues represent for him.
-
What are they suppose to do? A top superstar and former WWE champ died causing shock among the locker room. All of the wrestlers were devastated. They're suppose to do a little tribute video at the beginning and not mention it? Honky Tonk Man is an idiot. When he dies, they shouldnt even mention him.
-
Read his reply

i kinda get what he's saying on this one
-
Nah, he's still just a bitter little bitch. Why bash HBK when everyone said he's in a better place? Whether you have faith or not, part of the grieving process is saying comforting things about a person that has passed. And if you look at it, Eddie was in a lot of pain from his injuries and suffering. Now he's not.
Regardless, when people say things like "he's with God" or "In a better place", even if you don't believe it, it's said to be comforting. It's more psychology than Theology. But what does a half ass Elvis impersonator know about that?
-
RIP
10 years and there hasn't and will never be another like him...
already been 10 years though! wtf! seriously?
