Since the new's is kinda slow right now...
I thought I would ask yall how you feel about Beanie Sigel's music.
I know alot of peep's hate on Jay-Z because he sells records..lol
But I would just like to know where Beanie stand's with us westcoast fan's...me personaly think his shitt is off the chain's, his 2 album's are a must have.
"The Reason" was a bonified tight lp......and his first shitt "The truth" yo..that album got nothin' but bump's in my shitt.
Ever since his guest shot's on Jay'z shitt, he's been nothin' but shine.
In case you haven't picked up any of Beanie's lp's...go download a couple of track's & when u like em'...go buy the cd, it's worth it.
(Let's blow this post up like we did the Jayo post we made a month ago...drop ya science and opinion's, this is what makes this board the tightest board on the net. maybe a couple of you will actualy give these album's a chance)

I have both of his albums, personally I think his second one is a lot better than his first. His first lp had some pretty whack beats to me. Now as for his rappin', he's okay but he reminds me of Kurupt sometimes, the way he just blurts shit out.
Overall though, he's pretty good I guess...

Im feelin Beanie, my favourite cat on the Roc. 'The Reason' was a dope album, by no means classic but it was aight. His first 'The Truth' is also mad tight, again it aint classic but im honestly feeling it. 2 Solid albums.

well Beanie iz aight...hiz two albumz din"t really live up to my expectationz...that were pretty high after a coupla nice guest apereancz on jiggaz albumz...but if i got money only to buy one R.O.C cd sometime you bet yo ass i'll buy JIGGA(no comparison). in my book beanie iz a cameo-man not one i could stand a whole album from.

Beans is nice with his. I bought his first joint because the first single was hot but I was disappointed with the production on the rest of the album. I downloaded his second album and it's pretty good. I think I'm the only one that thinks his flow is tight as hell.

I agree. Beanie is underrated, ain't many people got doper flow than him, though his biggest disadvantage is his monotome voice, which can get boring at times. He isn't a typical album-dude, more like a dope cameo-dude.

I think he's okay, but I didnt buy his albums. I d/l'ed a few tracks from each and wasnt too impressed. I loved his guest spot on DPG - Best Run though, he came superheated on that one

personally i cannot stand the roc.....i used to like sigel alot....but not that much no more....freeway is ok....camron is tight though....but back to beanie....his albums are ok.....they get high ratings in the source but that doesnt mean shit to me.....i still think kurupt and roscoe are the best things from philly since will smith was the fresh prince!!!!

kurupt from 93-96 was ill no doubt. compare space boogie to jada's latest and jada is far superb to kurupt...kurupt's "new flow" is tiring and weak and repetetive...he sounds like a custie on the mic. jada spits fire on every track. dont sleep ;D

Jada is from Yonkers. I wasn't impressed with his last album. I thought he would drop at least a near classic but he took the commercial route. I think Styles is gonna drop some hot shit though because he keeps it gutter and I doubt his album will be commercial. Beanie is the best outta Philly but if I didn't consider Kurupt as a West Coast rapper than I'd say he was the best from there.
