Unlike a lot of yall internet thugs, I admit I'm not a tough guy and I have no problem with "snitching" or whatever you guys want to call it. If I see someone shoot my brother in the head and the cops asked me who shot him and I know who did it, damn straight I'm telling the police who did it. I'm not a gangster and I'm not going to get guns and start murdering people. This whole "don't snitch" mentality is some bullshit that is enslaving our people and making us look stupid. These are probably the same tools that give a brutha a hard time because he speaks "proper" or wants to get an education. This needs to stop.

i saw it. theyre so fuckin dumb on that show. they act as if the "stop snitchin" mentality STARTED because of the T-Shirts lol. Thats been rule number 1 in the hood before any of us was even alive. They just have to start the blame somewhere, and the T Shirts are an easy target.

i guess it depends on who u are, and what your idea of snitching is. to me theres a difference. If u and your homies are in on some shit, and youre the only one who gets caught...but u snitch on your homies to lesser your sentence then youre bullshit. But if youre accused of some shit u didnt do, but u knew who did do it...then fuckit, do what u got to do. I aint doin NO one elses time i know that much. There aint nuthin cool about bein locked up. It dont make u hard anyways, just makes u caught. Plus them same doods u take the fall for aint even gonna be there when u doing their time.

That's different, if you're running around doing street shit like slangin or robbin fools or gangbangin, than yeah, that's a shady thing to do, to rat out your partners when you're taking part in the crimes. I can't disagree with that. It's that people take this whole thing way out of hand to try to prove how hard they are. That's ridiculous. I'm not a thug, I work in IT for heaven's sake. I don't do dirt on the streets so I don't concern myself with any of the so-called rules or whatever. That's not my lifestyle.

Also, just look at the ramifications of these rules and the fucked up philosophy behind it. Look at the whole situation with Biggie and his murder in LA. Somone must have seen it but can't say anything because they don't want to look like a snitch. That's retarted. Because of that, his killers won't be brought to justice and Biggie's mama and the rest of his family have to deal with that. Also, if gangbangers are wearing these t-shirts in court, it's obvious they're trying to intimidate witnesses, that's common sense (I haven't seen the segment).

yeah. whats retarded to me is that they dont HAVE to allow them in there with those shirts on. It is a court, the judge can clear out the whole courtroom if he wants. The only problem with what the show was saying....was that it was the show that was saying it. Its a tv show, and there is some sort of sensationalism that goes into it. What gets good ratings for a show like Americas Most Wanted? Make the viewers afraid. They build the story up to make the viewers have this "oh my God!" response u know? Just like how we're talking about it now. So although some or most of what they said might have been true, u gotta consider the source yah know. The show is without a doubt going to exaggerate.  I dont see what the big deal is anyways. In the movies the community always stands up to the "evil gangsters" and wins. lol
