I feel you, I have a box of about 200 CDs I don't really listen to anymore. I'll be going through them next month and putting them in the selling section of the board.

Unfortunately, most hip-hop artists gravitated towards the path of least resistance by relying on these pre-set patches. As a result, electric guitar and real musicians became devalued, and a lot of hip-hop now sounds the same.
