yea the game is definitely worth playing,i didnt play all of it though, but i heard it was a great game. If ur going to buy it though make sure u get Metal Gear Solid 3 Substances. Its the newer version and has more stuff in it ,there both the same price too so u should be able to find a good deal on it..
Sanke Eater is a great game - the camo thing becomes trivial. It ain't really about trial and error to find the best combo of face paint and camo; the percentages of coverage are given in the menu, so you just switch to the higher ones when the terrain changes. The game is definitely worth playing through, I would say it's a little more fum than MGS2 as you can interrogate guards, and there's no running around that damn Big Shell.
The game isn't centered around changing camo, but you will need to keep an eye on it. There's an % index in the corner of the screen which tells you how camouflaged you are. There's special camo's to get, which alter more than your appearance. If you can, get Subsistence (the one Smoke posted), as it's got a fully controllable camera plus a shit load of extras. But you'll still get 20-25 hours of solid gameplay out of Snake Eater.
