Request: Big Lurch-It's All Bad

If ya'll want to hear some good Lurch pick up an album by Cosmic Slop Shop called "Da Family" it's pretty good.  It came out in like 1998 I think.

That album was way ahead of its time and still is when compared to alot of the craps thats been dropping lately.  I look at that group as the original "Federation" the only problem is that people werent ready for em. 

Rick Rock was in such a creative zone production wise.. doing stuff nobody had even thought of.  I'll admit, when I first heard it, it went right over my head.  I totally didnt get it until much later... around the time Lurch made headlines.  I couldnt figure out where the music was going and Big Lurchs voice really annoyed me. I think I ended up dismissing it as a gimmick or some experimental westcoast "horror core" shit. (the westcoast version of Gravediggaz maybe)

But when I found out dude wrote all of that shit off PCP, then it started to make sense and it became very interesting to listen to.  Its amazing to really listen to what dude is saying and how he puts his words together.  His choice of words.. the timing, delivery.. its like, how could he ever get on stage and recite any of that shit the way it was recorded.  His lyrics were so bizarre that at times he came off borderline genius.
