Y'all can't forget "187" with Samuel L. Jackson. The Russian Roulet scene near the end of the movie  where Sam Jackson keeps yelling, "YOU CAN'T KILL ME" is classic.

Thats has to be one of the best inner city dramas I've seen next to Boyz N the Hood.

These ain't Black but here are some Latin inner city movies.

American Me [CLASSIC!]
Blood In Blood Out : Bound By Honor [CLASSIC!]
Mi Vida Loca [Not that great]

Also watch First Time Felon with Omar Epps. The first part of the movie has to do with Vice Lords and BGD's. Treach is in it and does a good job.

My all-time favorite is "Menace to Society."  I still want to see "Colors" though, I heard that's a classic.

I love all the flicks mentioned above, Boyz N' Tha Hood is prolly one of the most effective an' deep flicks though. I was watching the Baby Boy movie special last night and John Singleton was on there talking bout how much effect Boy N' Tha Hood has had on the film making industry an' stuff, how nobody wanted to touch black made films on young black people living in innercity societys b4 that film dropped. He was also saying bout how Baby Boy was initially a main role he had set up 4 Pac, Pac would've been awsome. He said he held the project back until he found someone he thought could fill Pac's acting shoes.

I think that if you take one of the 'O's' out of 'Good' it's 'God', if you add a 'D' to 'Evil' it's the 'Devil'. I think some cool motherfucker sat down a long time ago and said 'let's figure out a way to control motherfuckers'.
