Butch Cassidy & Damizza Dropping "Back B4 Your Lonely"
« on: February 26, 2007, 06:32:34 AM »
Butch Cassidy & Damizza have combined forces for their collaborative debut album, Back B4 You’re Lonely in stores April 3 on Damizza’s Baby Ree Reecordingz. Butch Cassidy is an accomplished singer who has sung on hits from Snoop Dogg, G-Unit, Mystikal and others. Damizza is a former Los Angeles radio executive turned producer-rapper who has worked with Mariah Carey, Bone thugs-n-harmony, Westside Connection and more. Now, after working with one another for several years and building their respective brands they have a tremendous collaboration for 2007.

The future smash and lead single, “Cruzin’” is already generating radio play throughout the Western parts of the United States without even a white label being pressed up. The song’s addictive nature makes it a natural fit for music fans of all backgrounds.

Even though Butch Cassidy and Damizza are the commanding forces of Back B4 You’re Lonely, the collection also features a bevy of emerging of West Coast rap talent. “Gangsta Lean” pairs Butch Cassidy and Damizza with Jayo Felony, Titus and Down, while “A View From The Top” places Damizza with Dr. Dre’s new protégé Bishop Lamont, Vanessa Marquez and Roccett. Elsewhere, Taje and Noni Spitz join Damizza on “Click Clack.”

can't wait for this shit. damizza is a dope ass producer (see lights out by westside connection) and butch cassidy is a dope singer (all his work has been fantastic). in the end though, the rap collabos are what is going to make or break this album. damizza is a produer (may rap here and there) and butch cassidy is a hook dude (may drop a bridge), so i'm sure most of the rap verses will be done by guest apperances. good to see jayo felony on this shit. im'a be disapointed if knoc-turn'al ain't on this man. him & damizza have made a really good team in the past, as well as himself with butch cassidy.
