Man, I say if the shit is hot on your album, drop the shit. Your in the record business to make money. You never know what the fans will gravitate to until you drop it. That is why these one hit albums are going to be a thing of the past. It's getting back to artists are going to have to drop 2 or 3 singles to make a impact on the charts. Snoop's last 2 he has dropped at least 4 singles each, and even if Game wants to go platinum he is going to have to do the same thing.

word but it's more up to the label than the artist. Look at the round here becoming boss life thing...or maybe that was Nima? LOL

anyway, given that Game clearly can go more than platinum (documentary) his label should support him in doing a 4th single.

thats the problem... it should be about the music, not the money... money is just a bonus that comes along with it if youre talented

word, of course we agree. I'm just saying, since Game is capable of moving units...the company should use that potential since that's what they're about.

I meant in the sense of promoting your project. More or less that statement falls on a label. What good are you doing a album if you are sitting on the product. I agree, it should be about the music, but in most cases it's not. Shit more artists should do what Bishop Lamont is doing if it ain't about the money. Drop your project for free.

why take alllll the time of recording an album, and then giving up on it by not promoting it. don't put shit out, simply for the sake of it :-\(if your going to put your shit out mainstream wise).

For most that make good money, it is there way of making a living. It just so happens to be music and it is something they love doing. Ain't that the American way? Making money doing something you love to do? Sure most probably would do it for free and I don't doubt they love the art, but if it makes money that is a plus.

Crazy(radio play, on a single)
Imagine (there's like seven remixes)
beat up on yo pads(video)
vato(video, radio play, single was released)
Candy (video)
That's that shit (single released, video, remixes)
I wanna fuck you(single, video, radio play)
