Author Topic: Ya'll overrated Young Buck's- Hold On (because Dre's 2 other beats were shitty)  (Read 365 times)

It sounds like "Gunz come out", which we all thought was average.

"Gunz Come Out" was bangin - its just 50 singin like an opera singer that ruined it. Listen to Papoose rip that beat.
"House shoes & coffee: I know the paper gone come"

The other Dre beat was shitty (Dre didnt produced Slow Ya Roll) but Hold On is the shit. You can tell hes hanging out with RZA.

GUnz Come Out was still better though. And 50 killed that track. Actually, make that both tracks.

Yeah, it even sounds like a Dre beat.  Regardless of whether it is or isn't, it's not that good.  None of Dre's tracks on this album were really all that good.

completely disagree. This don't sound like a dre beat all. The other 2 most certainly do. Only reason I thought it was a dre beat wasn't because it sounded like it, just it was being promoted as a dre beat

really? i think "U Ain't Going Nowhere" is the best song on the album. "Hold On" is nice but i don't ever see myself putting it into heavy rotation.

And i was hoping Dre didn't produce "Slow Ya Roll" because it sucks.

**Slow Ya roll**
Not produced by Dre??
Cuz Dre's name is credited to that track...but if it ain't..then it's ok..
it took me a while to like the track..but i like it!..i guess becuase i heard it was Prod. by Dre and i was expecting sum hard hittin beat..

"U Ain't Going Nowhere"-I like this Beat!!
it's smooth..and Latoiya Williams is absolutley superb on that track..
I wonder what it would sound like, if Snoop featured her on a remix with Nate Dogg on **Boss Life** or **Imagine**

hold on is the only hot track on the album. 50 cent nearly fucked it up with signing on it.
