Crooked I and Ja Rule
« on: June 04, 2007, 11:09:47 AM »
I don't know if they are close anymore (or ever were) but wouldn't it be dope if Ja and Irv signed Crooked?  I could see Crooked really getting some shine on the new Inc or Mpire or whatever they're calling it now.  Ja & Irv are hungry again it seems and I think they're going to come out swinging. The whole interscope machine and their affiliates will never touch Crooked it seems.  Hi swhole career seems kind of black-balled. Thoughts?

Well, Ja has a decent cult following, but at the same time... it seems that his credibility is tarnished forever. Just being down with him is probably a career ender in some respects... kinda' like signing to Tha Row. I think this would be the last nail in the casket of bad career choices for Crook. I think he needs to follow the independent route just a little longer.

Well it would make some sense, he did do songs with Murder Inc. There were even talks of Irv trying to sign Eastwood. But Irv is cool with Suge so I am sure he would not want any hard feelings if he signed them.

Any chance of hook ups with the tracks Crook did with the INC?
I've only heard Worldwide Connected from Ja's The Last Temptation which also featured Eastwood. Dope track.

I know Crooked was on that Baby remix and there was the song Ja appeared on the Dysfunktional Family Soundtrack. I would have to find those but I know I have them.

50 Cent indirectly fucked up things for Crooked I. Just when the 50/Ja beef was about to erupt, Crooked I was getting more shine with The Inc ("Go Hard of Go Home", "The Showdown", "Connected", "Baby Remix", "Nexx Nigguz", "Fuck Tonight", etc). But as more people started to lose interest in Ja due to his excessive singing, and 50's fan base building by beating a dead horse, Tha Row had no choice but to stay clear of the beef. Had that never happened, I think a Row/Inc album from Crooked I might've been in the works.

This move wont happen.....Inc and Row are close, and he kinda made a point moving away from that.......Not saying he aint close with Inc and that, but be a bad move.

Come on, would you really like to see Crooked I with Ja Rule.......heeeeeeelll noooo......I would rather see Crooked drop an indy album and really do something for the Coast.

i think the best look for crooked i would be to sign to something like angeles records where youve got an okay foundation and some talent around you to help you.
