well how long are you "warming" it up for... 5 minutes?

any normal person does that shit for like 30 seconds and they're off

it can't be good for a car to turn on and immediately speed off

That's why you don't speed off right away...You take it easy until the engine is nice and warm, then you start smashin...did you read the article?

People warm their cars up in California? LOL...I thought that was mainly done a.)in the snow and b.)with diesel tanks. Weird.

Also, don't turn your car off to save gas if you're about to take off again right away...Turning on the ignition wastes a lot more gas than just leaving it idle...Also, the AC/heater taking up gas is a myth, I heard...PeACe

nah, the heater yes, but the ac take a lot of fuel. In the last car guide they made the test comparing hybrid cars with regular one. Without the AC the hybrid car was using like half the fuel but with the AC on the hybrid car was wasting as much. the heater is only a resistance of 10 A 120 volt it drains off the batteries though, so dont let it on when the engine doesn't turn.

and my bike was hella slow responding and it was making a weird ass sound.
and i didnt run it hard, the rpms go up to 18000 and i uped gears at only 6000

Hybrid is different, because it depends on energy much more...

Maybe for newer model cars, but I am rolling in a old school Fleetwood. Lacs need some time to warm up in the winter time to get going. My Cougar it does not take no time but a Lac when it is cold I just let it run for a few.
