Fo real that was interesting, it started off soundin hella wack and then he got some drum pattern into the beat and shit and it sounded more cohesive and then he has some idea of a hook or just a lil part of the joint but it sounded hella catchy...

when he spittin some shit like.."in the midnight hour when you sleep, better dream of me, better dream of me/ in the midnight hour when you creep, come get a piece of me/" in all honesty that sounded good with the beat, kinda latin flavour catchy and some acoustics would probably go nice with that.

truth is NEPTUNES are one of very few superproducers in the world today, very gifted muhfuckers. Dre, timbo, neptunes and just blaze are probably the 4 superproducers in the the business today. Kanye too possibly but over years and years coming with new shit, dre timbo and of the new school neptunes

Pharrel just starts to sound too formulaic for my tastes maybe it's the style of the music to but really I don't see what is in the least bit impressive about this particular beat or it's construction.

his smoothed out vocals really brought out the song...  thing i like about pharrell is that he aint ashamed to be himself, singin and what not in front of a fine azz chic
u take any average dude on the street doing that at taco bell or something and he'd get laughed at no matter if he sounded good or nothin =) props 2 pharrel for that 1

The video is pretty old, but I´m totally love the beat. Too bad P "waste" it for Vanessa Marquez, although I must say she did the song quite well. But I never understood why the synthies set so quietly in the finished instrumental

dude she fuckin stunk.. Danity kane any one of those girls sings better than this.. this is defenitly not her type of record she could do one of those club tracks for sure
