yeah, you're right, it's not the 8th, but it ain't the 10th either. you only count studio albums in general, and Lost Tapes wasn't a studio album, just like the recently released Greatest Hits. so that makes it the 9th.

Wasn't a studio album? Didn't sound like a live album to me. It's not like a greatest hits, a greatest hits album is a collection of songs that have all been released before (save a bonus track or two). The Lost Tapes had all unreleased songs, just like Untitled did.

So yeah, that's why it is not counted in his official discography because it's not looked at as an official studio album.
I actually do agree so far with the 4.5 rating; this is a fantastic album.

It's not really part of his official canon of releases.
