Jrome's preliminary thoughts on the new Nas album

I've only listened to it all the way through twice but I wanted to give my initial thoughts for the record.  We'll see how it holds up over time.

Great album.
Nobody with Nas' status in the game is dropping albums like this.
He's on some real knowledge shit.
This album is def up there with some of his best work.
He kept the guest appearances minimal and can hold the album down no problem.  But thats never been a problem for him anyway.
Great production.  Nice mix of respectable producers of today like Toomp and still fuckin with cats like stic.man
Very focused coherent album.

I'll drop more later but at this point i'd rate this shit a 9 outta 10.  Hip Hop needed an album like this.

was impressed on first listen but need to give it a few more spins.
