You got it all wrong, smoothness doesn't always equal G-Funk. There are different types of G-Funk, more summer feel (More mainstream view of it) and others darker feel. Not to mention, The Chronic pretty much came out before all of those I think. Pretty much still early in creation along with ATL's Black Mafia Life.
