Back in September, we brought you an exclusive interview with west coast rap artist Seven, where we talked about his new album F.A.M.E., life growing up on the east side of Torrance, CA, and many other topics.

Releasing 2 singles in December, Life Ain’t Easy, with C Major (Shady Records) and All Because Of You, Seven has received spins on L.A.’s Power 106, 100.3 The Beat, as well as on on Sirius Satellite. This talented writer/producer is well on his way to building an empire with his own label, Hellafyde Records. His reputation has yielded the honor and privilege of working with music veterans and emerging artists such as: James DeBarge, DJ Whoo Kid, DJ Lady Tribe, Baby Bash, CAZ, L.A. Nash, KAM, L.V., C-Murder, Spider Loc and Crooked I to name a few.

In May 2009, Seven will release his new album, F.A.M.E., after inking a deal with LRT Music Group/UMVD/Fontana; where he has personal management with LRT, as well as distribution for his label Hellafyde Records. The album will be accompanied by a series of DVD’s revealing a more personal glimpse into the world of Seven-- his lifestyle, and his line-up of artists-- that will also be distributed by LRT/UMVD.

Seven’s first album, 7 Million Ways, continues it’s availability through national distribution by Aries Music/ EMI Latin. That album meshed R&B legend James DeBarge with Seven’s raw voice and production talents. 7 Million Ways made it’s way through the streets of L.A. the old school way-- out of the trunk of a car. From the resulting street buzz, his name and production skills were acclaimed by artists and industry insiders alike.

Throughout January & February Seven will continue to open up for artists such as DJ Quik, Ludacris and Common. So make sure you make it out to one of these shows and show your support for the west coast!

In addition, Seven has granted Dubcnn a brand-new, exclusive track off his upcoming F.A.M.E. project. The track, Holla Atcha Boy is produced by DJ Ace (Ice-T’s DJ).

He will have 2 songs on the soundtrack, one of which we have for an exclusive download right here on Dubcnn! The track features C-Murder and L.A. Nash, and was produced by Hellafyde Muzik.
