Ha, I didn't even know that was a remake.  I never really listened to the Jewel song, I'd always fast forward it (lol, I'm old).

LOL... its a shame... 99% of ALL Hip Hop (older) is a sampled version of some song or another song replayed just at a different tempo/key.

no shit. sampling is awesome though it opens up a wide variety of older, really good music to a group of listeners (hip hop) that wouldn't find it as accessible before.
