Time to dismantle Phoenix Suns

Firesale. At this rate they are setting up a 1st round date with the Lakers with a broom included for a sweep. Destroy and Rebuild as Nas said. Lose to the Bulls by 11 at home?  :-X

the trade for shaq was questionable, but they were able to play through that. but the trade for richardson was dumb as fuck.

Tell me a single player coached by Mike D'Antoni who - once he got traded - had the same numbers and impact he used to have under D'Antoni's system. Just one. In other words.. this team was ok with D'Antoni as a coach, cause D'Antoni uses a type of system where even mediocre-normal player can score a lot and play well. He's like doping. He makes players better than what they are. Look at the Knicks. But that system is good enought to rebuild and to get to the post-season, but it ain't good enought to win a ring. In my eyes, the Suns never really had a chance to win a title with D'Antoni. Immagine without him.

I dunno...Richardson is not the problem. That was actually not a bad trade for them...not as bad as they Shaq one, at least. They simple don't have a franchise player. Nash is an out-of-prime 2nd option player... Shaq is still playing good basketball, but not playing close to as great as the old Shaq... Amare is nice, but overrated and far from a franchise player...The D'Antoni system made 'em look better, rebuilding is their only option now.

The Richardson trade would have been great if they were still coached by Dantoni. But Dantoni is gone, and his system along with him. They lost their two best defenders for a wing who, while talented, essentially does not fill in any of the current Suns' needs.

As for Shaq... I think he's doing more for the current Suns than Marion's overrated ass could have. There's a reason the Heat have been trying to ship Marion since like, his 2nd game of this season. Dude is a locker room distraction whose offense is non-existent without playmakers spoon-feeding him points.

i still think the shaq trade was worth a punt, they probabley wernt going to win a ring with marion and like 28 other teams they probabley arnet gunna win one this year.

to be honest

the suns could be a 2nd round pl ayoff team if they can get a matchup besides LA, SAS or N.O.

i really don't think the richardson trade dide them any favors. they lost some depth and energy IMO. something they could have used to beat or at least contend with SAS if they met up again.,

I suppose they could try to lure Nelson away from the Warriors, thats sort of like Dantoni
