Its more of the internet guys rather than the streets that live back in the 90's as far as that east vs west shit. But it just confirms how much respect they really have for hip hop in general when they hate on the coast that started this whole damn thing. All of there favorite artist love east coast music came up on east coast music, so it just proves my point more that we need an iq test for niggaz to listen to hip hop.

We don't got hate, we just don't want to listen to it. Why should I listen to something that has no appeal to me??? Also I could care less why my Artist listen to. Idc if Dr. Dre listens to a Old School KKK Lynch record from the 1920s while he makes music.

Were the fuck are you coming up with this bullshit???  West Coast dominated the east with just 1 album. We dominated for 5 years straight since we cam on the scene. If Tupac/Biggie didn't get fucked up we both be the dominate scenes. We took a bad hit with Death Row, but we cam back with Slim Shady/Dr. Dre's 2001. Slim Shady was fucking MID.

Only east was 50 Cen, with the Game, and We have no idea, wtf went on behind the scenes when it came to Game's album. You believe what you want. Just don't start cutting your self when other people don't agree.

Also get with teh fucking times, we hate the fucking South, everyone hates the south. lol East hates West Coast/South, South hates East/West and West Hates East/South. Face it, because we don't vibe to each regions sound we going to have problems when 1 side floods the market. Now if West was on west, south with south and East with East. We wouldn't have any problems.

Me, personally, started listening to hiphop in 98, hated it before that (must've been living under a rock or something before that).

Didn't even know who 2pac and biggie was, or that they were dead (Bet some of you guys must be laughing now.....).

My love with hiphop started with 2Pac's song Changes, (the song hit me, and when my cousin told me that the guy was killed just a few years before, it sparked my interest and hooked me right on, then I got curious and started falling in love with hiphop, later I realized that I knew and had heard Califonia Love, watched Poetic Justice, ect, so my knowledge is/wasn't very good, bout the whole situation back then of lets say Pac and Big, East and West, which makes this forum an excellent source of info, plus hear all of u guys opinions and shit...

I may be missing the point here completly but what are you expecting... this is a westcoast forum for fans that appreciate westcoast music. You go over to allhiphop.com its all east and the westcoast get no love.

secondly, i am a fan of westcoast music and consider 92- 96 the golden age so whats wrong with people still talking and listening to that shit? especially when its funamentally better that the majority of stuff out today. doesnt mean anyone is stuck in a timewarp its just the appreciation of good music..
