I agree. I know he was working with G-One even before BlaQKout but you never know... that new track with 2nd II None sounds hella boring anyway and BlaQKout was a flop, he needs to drop an high-quik-quality album in 2010.

I was there at the Grove when he performed that new song with 2nd II none! And that shit was Bangin! Wasn't boring for me.......... ;D

Yeah I was at the Nokia center and he did that song everyone went nuts that shit tight...is it out in Mp3?

Blaqkout was album of the year for me in 2009.

Everyone has an opinion on it, but it was a very solid album. Very chill and perfect for summer.

Blaqkout had all good singles. A few decent tracks on the album. But overall it was weak. I had it on repeat a week tryna like this, but it was impossible. It didn't impress me very much at all. Compared to his other releases it sucks

Blaqkout was album of the year for me as well.  It was everything that I expected from it.

LMAO at people calling it album of the year. It just shows how poor 2009 was for Hip Hop if that's the case. I know people want to try and justify the albums strength on it's "sound/mastered/mixed quality". I mean what next? It has a great album cover so it's album of the year? The single "Do You Know" when I heard it a couple of times, I thought it was amazing. New modern Quik style, it's fresh, it's nice. It was enough to encourage me to buy the album, so I'm not speaking in hater-tense. I loved the first track 'Blaqkout'. I liked Cream N Ya Panties (reminded me of old quik style) Fk Y'all (sounded like older quik with modern twist) The Appeal - again sounded like the old, much more preffered Quik style
Hey Playa & Do U Know sounded like modern fresh Quik, and I liked this too

I'm sorry, but 5 good tracks aint enough for me to call this album of the year. I guess people have such low standards due to the competition or lack of solid released over the years, and will accept a sub-standard attempt at what should be a great collaborative album. Some tracks should have been mixtape fillers. I mean wtf is up with that spaceman BS on there??? 9 times outta 10 - has a dope boom, boom, boom roll to it, but it really is basic, and should have been a B-side single if anything

Yes, the album's overall sound quality was tuned very well, but ....... Aren't retail albums supposed to have great sound quality??? lol!!!!
