I2G chilled with one of the west coast's finest on the mic, Brotha Lynch Hung, for a exclusive interview. We discuss his new album, Dinner & A Movie, dropping on March 23rd, his label Madesicc Music and we take a trip down memory lane with some of Lynch's classic albums. Sit back and enjoy.

Illuminati 2G is here with Brotha Lynch Hung how's it going?

Doing good.

You have a new album, Dinner & A Movie, which drops on March 23rd. Tell me a little bit about the album.

Well the album is the first chapter of a 3 album movie. You have to get all 3 of the albums to know what happens to this guy in the movie. He is a regular person turned serial killer because his life went bad. But he only kills rappers lyrically.

How did the deal come together with you and Tech N9ne with you signing to Strange Music and what has the experience been like working with him?

Well they have been trying to sign me for a while, since the Everready album. I was not sure what I wanted to do at the time because I had just started a label but then Dave moved from Hawaii and became vice president of Strange and his first project was to come get me. He got me and ever since I have been working with him, everything has been on the level of my biggest days, when I was signed to Priority Records.

Now you just recently dropped 2 videos, Meat and I Plotted, from the album and you have a third, Colostomy Bag that is coming after that. Now are those visuals part of a movie that is going to accompany the album or are they just separate videos?

No those are videos for the album. Those are visuals and the third one should be out on the release date of the album, which is March 23rd. Then I will go into the second album, and there will be 3 more videos to add to the story then I will go into the third album with 3 more videos. By then it will sum up the whole story. The album itself tells a story also.

Is there any guest appearances on the album and can you speak on the producers that worked on the project?

Yeah producer wise we got my boy 7, he has always done stuff for Tech since Everready. New up and coming producer, Axis. He does alot of production for my label, Madesicc. Phunk Beta did some production, and I did as well, and Freddy Machete, he pretty much summed it up. The album guest appearance wise has Snoop, Daz & Kurupt, Tech N9Ne, Krizz Kailiko, C-Lim, T-Mac and other artists from my label.

You had mentioned a couple years ago about the Spyderman album. Is that something that will still drop and will it tie in with this trilogy?

Well pretty much Black Market dissected that Spyderman album and took verses and put them everywhere so I kind of let that project go. Maybe in the future I will get back active on it and release it because the fans been waiting on it. But pretty much once Black Market got a hold of it, it was a wrap.

What is next as far as your label, any artists that are getting ready to drop in 2010?

Yeah my boy COS his album is probably going to drop in 3 months, and G-Mac's album was supposed to drop last week and it got pushed back. His album is called Vampires and that should be the next one from my label to look for.

Do you have any plans of doing another album with MC Eiht or doing another Blocc Movement album with C-Bo again in the near future?

Neither of those two as of yet, but myself and Keak Da Sneak are talking about doing a group album together.

One of my all time favorite albums is Season Of The Siccness. Can you share just what your mindstate was when you where making that album?

Well it was all bad during that time, alot happened in my life. That is why that album came out like it did, my cousin Q-Ball got shot at C-Bo's video shoot and was killed. The only thing good about it was that I did get the record deal with Priority Records and Dave Wiener, which we hooked back up once again with Strange Music. That was part of the best times of my life, the times when I really got paid and good exposure.

But as far as recording, it was pure hell. I just was making it through it the best I could.

There were alot of rappers, one that comes to mind when I listen to your music as far as content is Eminem, not to compare the two. Eminem really at the height of his fame and career really got alot of criticism for his lyrics and his subject matter. Did you find any of that same criticism with a album like Season Of The Siccness did you find people really taking to heart the persona you had on that album?

Went through alot of flack over the baby killa stuff but what alot of people do not know is that I was simply talking about abortion and may have went overboard with my metaphors. It was just abortion that I was talking about and I got the idea from having to have a couple abortions from some ex girlfriends that I was glad I did with. But yeah I did get alot of flack though.

Another album that I dig from you is Lynch By Inch and my favorite track off that is I Went From. Could you tell me a little bit about how that song came together for you?

When I did that song, I went on tour from California to Oklahoma and I let my sister and her boyfriend stay in my house and he ended up shooting her in the head so I dedicated that song to her. I feel that it was my fault, because I let him stay there and I usually would not have him in my house, because my sister was living with me. I was on tour and I had to cut half of the tour off when I got the news and then drove back to Cali.

When I do that song, the good thing about it is people throw lighters up in the crowd, so that makes me feel good and it is like they are talking to my sister. It is always taking the good with the bad.

Being from Las Vegas, a group that you used to work with a few years back, Doomsday Productions, do you still keep in touch with them and how did you guys link up?

Yeah I do keep in touch with them. I had not for a couple of years but just recently I went on tour and they found out I had a new album out and they are helping me with some of the promotion for it. We back talking again and we talking about doing some work together again. They are talking about going back on tour to get back into the situation and then they are going to start working on a album. Once they start that I will be working with them on their album.

Ok cool. Do you have any upcoming shows or tour dates that you want to let the people know about?

Yeah we got a 57 day tour starting May 3rd and I should be back home June 20th. It is going to be everyday with one day off a week. It is going to be called Strange Days with Tech N9Ne and the whole Strange label, Cognito, Krizz Kailiko, myself and whatever local talent and that starts May 3rd.

What is your website information for people looking to check out your music and see what you got going on?

www.madesicc.com, www.twitter.com/brothalynchhung, www.facebook.com/brothalynchhung. Also go to www.coathangastrangla.com and watch both the I Plotted and Meat videos and soon the Colostomy Bag video. Also go to www.therealbrothalynchhung.com

I know you do alot of movies. Do you have any movies that you are going to be starring in or producing anytime soon?

I have 3 scripts, one about my life called Season Of The Siccness. I also have a serial killa movie called The Writer and I am writing a erradicator series and I am going to try and approach TV with that, I am just not done with the whole season yet.

Alright well that is all the questions I have for you, appreciate you getting down for the interview. Do you have any last words or shoutouts you want to get out there to the people?

Shouts out to Strange Music, Madesicc Music and all my boys that keep me together. Shouts out to Illuminati 2G for giving me a thought.

Appreciate the interview.

Alright thanks alot.
