Ok, so it's good to hear some new Soopafly, but true, this is probably one of his weaker tracks.  Reminds me of a leftover Welcome To Tha Chuuch mixtape tracks.  Listen to his song "99 Problems" off the WTTC mixtape series and tell me this song doesn't sound almost exactly like it.  I'm not a huge fan of the "angry" Soopafly rapping style.  I like the more smooth pimpish westcoast soopafly.  This song is just too much in your face for my taste.  One of his more recent tracks "Back at The Westcoast", now that's the kind of stuff Soopafly needs to be on.  You know, i'm a true fan and i gotta tell it like it is, not every single Soopafly track is gonna be a hit, about 90% of them are....this one is not.  I hope it's more of a throwaway track.  I'm interested to hear the one with Short Khopp on it though.  Hopefully that one's better.  I don't think he checked one single bitch in this whole song, i'm kinda bummed about that.

Nah, we smoothed it all out.  he was a little mad because i wasn't giving his man Good Lucc a chance and i thought he sucked.  But it turned out I was right, because Fly dropped him like a bad habit.  It's all good though, I respected THE MAN's wishes and i think he appreciates it when i review his songs and stuff.  For instance, when he was making the Westurn Union album all by himself while those other 2 guys stood outside and waited, I asked Soopafly (through dubcc) if he could make one song on the album about going really hard at the hoes, and he ended up making two of them (Don't Like You Girl, and Bacctalk), so i really appreciated that.  And he dropped the album on my birthday, August 19th.  So that showed me right there he respects me and of course i respect and rep him to the fullest.

Hey SoopaDPGC, what do you think of dubb union album vs the mixtape? Personally i felt the mixtape had all the best tracks. It's a shame they had to dump all the tracks they called out Westurn Union on after the namechange. It was a classic that never came together:(

Yeah, I was wonder the same. Songs like "Cali Grown" should've been on their album. And I love how Fly flipped that classic MJ sample on "All Night" - shit's a fuckin' dope club banger

I think they did waste a lot of album worthy cuts on the mixtape.  All Night was awesome, but i had a feeling they'd never be able to shell out the money to get MJ sample cleared for the album.  All Night, Cali Grown, and a few others were really good off that mixtape.  If you take about half the mixtape and half the album, you could come up with a really good album.  Then if you took those other two guys off the tracks and put more Soopafly on it, the album would have been a classic for all time.  Maybe i'll make a list of what i feel would have been the ultimate Dubb Union album using tracks from the album and mixtape.  I had a feeling that Dubb Union thing wasn't going to last.  That's why i was wondering why Soopafly would get involved with those other two clowns.  I guess he was trying to give back and put some other cats up on the game, but they squandered the chance that Soopafly gave them and they fell back into they abyss of nothingness.  Oh well, Soopafly's moving on.

That Short Khop and Soopafly track is different....not sure what i think of it yet.  I need to hear the whole thing.
