Illuminati 2G is here with Charlie Clips how's it going?

Charlie Clips: Everything is Great! Just grinding putting in a lot of work. Got the streets in a frenzy that's all.

You have your new street album, Legendary, out now. Tell me a little bit about it and how it came together for you?

Charlie Clips: Well 1 of my main producer's Joe Milly sent me a beat called Charlie Clips lol and when Iheard it I was like wooooo I gotta front on this one and let the people know I'm that dude so I ended up naming the song Legendary to describe what I am now or what I will be later. It's track #2 on the street album.

Do you have any upcoming singles or videos set to drop from the album?

Charlie Clips: Yes I do. I dropped 3 videos so far off of Legendary none of them was the singles though. I dropped a video for Mac 11's featuring Loaded Lux & Goodz, I dropped a video for R.S.I.E.W(realist shit I ever wrote) and I just dropped a video for the Intro. All 3 videos are fire and give you a different feel.

One artist that you have a great chemistry with is Noah Jones. When I interviewed him he had mentioned a group possibly with you, him and Rain in it. What are your thoughts on that?

Charlie Clips: That would be crazy and fun. 3 totally different artists 3 totally different styles from 3 totally different places. Im from Harlem NY, Noah from California and NY and Rain is from North Carolina. You put that together and you have a bomb.

What are your plans now that the album is out? Do you have any other projects set to drop in the future?

Charlie Clips: My plans now that the album is out is DON'T STOP!. I'm going to keep dropping videos and keep making power moves. I might do a video for every track im on it like that lol. I might have a mixtape drop on Christmas before the year is out called "The Bad Santa Mixtape" and 2011 I will be dropping a EP or Album via Itunes.

What are your thoughts right now on the state of hip hop?

Charlie Clips: I Love It! I don't complain about music because there are no rules in music. Music is a art and a culture a way of life so you can do silly songs or a bunch of dance songs all I ask is that you be serious and do it from the heart.

What currently are some albums that you are bumping right now?

Charlie Clips: I'm a huge fan of the underground market so I bump mixtapes more than albums so the 5 tapes im bumping are "Legendary", "Slime Flu" by Vado, "Armageddon" by Fred the Godson, "Audio Dope" by Nym Dot and "Who's Ready" by Ceezo. If you aren't familiar with some of those names then you should google them they have dope music.

Do you have any upcoming shows or tour dates?

Charlie Clips: I actually just killed the stage at S.O.B's for "Def Jam Cypher Sessions" with Dj Enuff, Dj Quiz and Sha Money Xl. I also just tore the stage down for E.O.W at The Pyramid. I have more shows coming up and me and my team are setting up a mini tour so that should be fun.

What is your website information?

Charlie Clips: You can go to Whoischarlieclips.com everything you want to know about me or need to know about me is on there.

Appreciate your time, any last words before I let you go?

Charlie Clips: I just want to say thanks Illuminati 2G for the interview I really appreciate it.
