Because of what DJ Premier said in this video. Primo didn't even diss him.

Canibus is one of my favourite lyricists. I'd hate to see him get all sour over something so small.
But one thing everyone knows is, working with DJ Premier is frustrating.
His work ethic is a little lousy sometimes. All the guys you expect to get special treatment i.e. Busta only get one or two (at most) beats off him in one year anyway.
Thats just the way Primo works.

No such thing as special treatment at all with Primo. No-one on his label can get an album out. 

Frustrating he is. He just constantly seems to be touring. It's all well and good that your fans get to see you live but I bet they would rather have new music from him.

Busta said it himself. He would nag Primo non stop for a year to try get a beat off him and IF he get two, he'd be hella lucky. Usually its just 1 and thats it.
Artists that worked with Primo as well as Busta said, Primo takes forever to do a beat but when he does, he prefers to hang out and sped time with the artist first. Then build the beat. This is straight from their mouths and experiences with Primo.

....real talk, a couple years ago (maybe closer to 5 years ago) i was at the jack n box in north Hollywood on laurel canyon on a late weekday evening and in walks canibus with some of his people...apparently he got into sum shit with some other cats in there...it was about to go down untill he bounced talking about 'why you trippin, we're all human!'...i dunno, maybe he was taking the high road and just didn't want any problems as a grown man cuz the other dudes were some youngsters....but it was crazy to see dude back down like that (although its not like were talking about some crazy street cred having rapper)...point is, he aint that much of a threat on the physical side after seeing him in person so i'm sure preemo aint concerned (nor should he be)
