What Happened?
« on: January 07, 2003, 02:16:40 PM »
I was reading through my old source issues and i came across this interview with daz and kurupt in the december 99 issue.

THE SOURCE
Daz youre one of the few cats who stayed down with death row to the end. Why Was that?

DAZ
Im still behind death row 100 per cent. Iam off death row but iam still fucking with them.

THE SOURCE
Do you still have that type of cool relationship with Suge?

DAZ
Yeah, we go beyond this rap shit. That muthafuckas rich. That nigga got more paper than bill cosby and all those high priced niggas. So im going over there to get some. Suge might feel like vegas and feel like gamblin. So im going over there to fuck with them, Thats my homeboy, and im going over there to make it happen.

Then in the September 01 issue of the source daz says

"The beef is on again with Suge and them, were going to take there head off when they try to take are head off. Its over no ones gonna want to hear there shit now."

What i want to now is what happened between daz and suge between dec 99 and sept 01. Serious replys though not stuff like daz got on crack or suge tried to eat daz.

;D Good Post
Especially for all these daz/dpgrecords fans and at the same time ThaRow haters who should understand that daz was 100% behind deathrow when all his "homies" left the label.

I remember that issue, there was an interview with Warren G too.  The way I remember it is that Snoop, Nate & Kurupt left at the same time (around spring '98 I think) but Daz stay then Suge let him be president while he was in jail.  He stayed on Death Row for a while then left I guess around that time (late '99) but like he said he was still cool with them.  I'm not sure what happend to sour the relationship after that time.
