Hip-hop to me is like wrestling in that I can't even look at it like I did when I was growing up anymore. As industries, I've pretty much stopped being a fan. Those who profit off it, for the most part, don't give a shit about its history. This lack of media coverage in terms of magazine tributes would be one thing if there was actually something going on but there isn't. I mean, to act like I'm shocked that Nate got the Eric Wright treatment would be a lie but I'm damn sure dissapointed for the fact that I go through these magazines that push the coverage to the side corner and there is nothing else even worth reading. It's one thing if you can't give him the cover but to read the articles... Maybe DubCNN spoiled us with the Nate tributes but how can a hip-hop publication put out an article on this man that somebody got paid to write and not even make it a solid enough read? Even just five years ago when Proof died, they at least put out some good articles on him. Maybe it's the lack of drama. I don't know.

If Nate had been murdered on some gang shit the story would've blown up and still be runnin.

No ones interested writing about a guy who had a stroke. No matter how big nate was, he's 'old' news now..

Fucking sad world.. :-\

Yeah that's fucked up. The source on their last issue put the first article they wrote on Nate. Did somebody check it ?

"There's one more thing I'd really like for you to do, never leave me alone..."
