I prefer the O.G. version... but both versions are bangers..... In the 90's they used to do remixes to give a song some more months of life and sales... this is one instance where it worked well... the song was a great song but a little bit old by the time the were ready to do "Murder Was The Case", so they went in and remixed it and gave it new life....Puffy used to remix a lot of the Bad Boy hits and give them some extra life. It was a trend in those days, but nobody could do it like Dre could do it.

I prefer the original version. The remix is without a doubt also very good, but the original Version is just a classic and can't be fucked with.
I think they were both perfectly placed. The OG Version fits perfectly with Doggystyle and the Remix is a nice theme song for the movie.
