I always thought Ty's lyrics were just a teency weency too silly and August's lyrics were a tad bit too stiff (let alone his Production)

I think Ty's the new R. Kelly and if he keeps it up he might one day pass Robert, but only if he can produce multiple vintage records. Becuz Rob got that shit locked down like The Isley Brothers and Mr. Marvin Gaye #stamp

Tha "Dolla $ign Alsina"/"August Dolla $ign" project could possibly get even the most lamest guy alive some pussy. Especially if it's in the same vein as "$ign Language", that album was just amazing, totally caught me off guard.

A few features from Dom Kennedy, a feature from Gibbs (if he can ever recover from getting shot after talking slick #ouch). An introduction+outroduction on a one song from Snoop (a narration you might say). Throw on a skit by Juicy J (he's usually full of Wisdom or Comedy). And a track with Fat Trel and u got a hit.

Overall I couldn't see anything going wrong with that type of project. As long as it's not too "Trapped Out" production-wise like August's music or too silly-silly like some of Ty's music is then it's almost damn near impossible to fuck something like that up

Explain how "$ign Language" is trash. That album is pretty vintage from tha bottom to the top. Throw on the Remix to "Or Nah" and that shit rides all of the way thru.

Lord Knows that album is up there with Nate's "G Funk Classics".

And I like August too. I actually think him & Ty are some of the few (very few) R&B/R&G/R&T artists that can sing.

My only thing with August is his beat selection. IMO when it comes to an R&B (and this is just my opinion), I just think it should be a little more Soulful than Trap heavy. I mean he's no different than Nate or Jodeci in this day and age but atleast they balanced it out with actual R&B records verses it pretty much all being one type of style.

August & Ty doing a duet album, let alone a Tour (with other acts included) would put alotta Brothaz on notice
