What i'm saying is, it doesn't add up. In America, the Leno show is actually only 48 minutes of television. You're telling me in Sweden or wherever you are, they show 52 minutes of it. That's impossible, therefore, they must have the same amount of commercials, at least during Leno, which you chastisized us for, that they do in America, or it would fuck up your programming schedule.
The programming schedule doesn't get fucked up at all... Just leave the useless math out of it. There's one break for every 30 minute show. For 45 minute shows there's 2 breaks, for 1 hour shows there's 3. Then after each show there's a bit longer commercial break (or sometimes a 5 minute news flash). As an example let's take Conan O'Brien. I've noticed that Conan's show has commerical slots always in the same places. 1 - After the 1st sketch/before the first guest2 - After the 1st guest/before 2nd sketch3 - After 2nd sketch/before 2nd guest4 - After 2nd guest/before 3rd guest5 - after 3rd guest/before "That's our show, good night"But when they show it here, they only show commercials in slots 1 and 3. Then after the show they have a longer commercial break - go to the bathroom, fix yourself a sandwich, then the next show is on.Another example - a sitcom. 22 minutes, right? One 3-4 minute break in the middle, another 4-5 minutes after the credits roll.
In the Netherlands it's like thisFresh Prince of Bel-Air (woohoo old skoooool) starts at 8:00 PM. There's a break at like 8:12 PM till 8:15. It ends at like 8:27 or something, and then there's a break till 8:30 and then the next show starts.
