junior mafia used the sample for the "get money remix" which is why pac took it.  but noone flipped that sample like battlecat did for snoop on the o.g. papere'd up.  snoop & cat own that sample now.  don't touch it.

snoop fucked it up on paid the cost though...

the original song is "don't look any further" iirc.  dennis edwards maybe, everyone uses that sample so it's tuff saying who did it first.

Yukmouth is looking at the bigger picture here. "If I diss the game, mention 50's name, maybe 50 cent or anyone from the G-unit will diss me." <--which means publicity, good time to drop a record.

i don't think it's just publicity.  sure, publicity plays an aspect.  but people love to use the victor in these lyrical beefs as a measuring stick for "greatness".    there's a saying that goes something like "to be the best you've got to beat the best" or something like that.  sure, yuk wants the publicity.  but yuk is a better lyricist than 50 or game, and if they engage yuk in a lyrical war this is one way for yuk to prove that fact.
