Foxy Brown - mad that Jay-Z would not work with her. She thought they could make more music together, and needed him as a ghostwriter.

Ja Rule - Irv and Ja wanted to do a reunion of Jay-Z, DMX and Ja Rule, but Jay was not up for it. Basically it's be like if Ren wanted beef with Dre for not doing NWA.

Mobb Deep - have no clue, just knew Mobb Deep was dissing Jay-Z

Nas - actually started with Bleek dissing Nas for taking a melody of his for his Nastrudamus hook, and never stopped dissing him. The Roc prides it's self on if you battle one, you battle us all, so eventually Jay-Z took that beef, plus since both where the top of the NY, it was for pride.

DMX - never knew there was beef.

i had always assumed that DMX's verses on Uh-Huh with Jadakiss were directed at Jay-Z...

from what i heard the Jay-Z-Mobb Deep thing has been around for years, maybe even as far back as volume 1...i think someone said Jays first few lines on Where Im From were directed at Mobb Deep...

also when he said "its like New York been soft ever since Snoop came through and crushed the buildings" on Money Cash Hoes (i think), Mobb Deep and Nas didnt appreciate it lol...

This is the cause of the Mobb Deep beef.

CalebOhio: I think i can speak for many others when i say my favorite rap artists are white but i still want black artists to be dope. they are chosing not to be. that wouldn't be a likely believe held in a white supremacist group. I want Nas to deliver evertime but he doesn't every time Sage does. so Sage gets my $15 regardless or his status. fuck your status perception and labels you use.

listen to the interview, Jay said it himself that they put their "differences" aside for that night so the show could go on. and he said his situation with Ja was never "that serious"

Jay & Camron never liked eachother, Cam was a Dame Dash signing, more like a business move.
