50 CENT VS. GAME: THE AFTERMATH

   Since this ridiculous beef between 50 Cent and Game has started, people have been wondering "what's next?" Would the beef get worse since the person who got popped outside of the Hot 97 studios just so happened to be part of Game's clique? Well, surprisingly even though 50 Cent started this whole fiasco, he has since been downplaying the beef while Game has been blowing it up. 50 appeared on BET's 106th and Park to promote his album, but also surprised the audience by stating that he's ready to let the beef go and move on.

   "A lot of things you hear out there is being said for shock value and not really as serious as people make it out to be," he stated "The media gets it and they try to do what they can do with it to make money off of it and make it look as bad as possible. But hip-hop has always been competitive, and they should always look forward to us getting back and forth with words." He has even (according to Hot 97) declared that he wants a truce with his former G-Unit buddy."I am making a conscious decision to try to be nice about this," he said during a radio interview Monday in New York. "I'm going to try to communicate with [Game]." These words coming after reports have surfaced that the album will push over 1,000,000 copies in only 4 days. Publicity stunt anyone? But even though he is ready for the beef to settle, the ones he dissed aren't to enthused to let the jabs go without retaliation. Jadakiss has stated that he will definitely reply as well as Fat Joe and Nas. Surprisingly a local rapper that took offense to 50's Newport News dis in "Ski Mask Way" and has created his own dis track. A rapper by the name of Loc has jumped on the "50 Cent Beef Cruise" and has fired his own shots at the G-Unit leader. There have even been reports that Nas, Jada and Game will link up to dis 50....don't know about that one either. Game on the other hand has been very vocal about the ordeal. He even reportedly hit Long Beach's The Vault and let the crowd know exactly how he felt about the ordeal. "Come get me, you little bitch!" Game reportedly hollered "I ain't scared." He is now being sought after by investigators for questioning regarding the shootout at Hot 97. A poster which is reportedly known as "Mel-Man" has also been spotted on a web forum by the name of West Coast Connection using the name "Mellowmanisba" and stated his displeasure with the beef by citing both parties (mainly 50) as not dealing with the beef like family should. "It is real unfortunate that it happened this way, but it did and it has to be handled INTERNALLY from here on out, not over the radio station. I don't really know what 50 was thinking. 50 talks about loyalty but to me one of the most unloyal things one can do is to air out FAMILY BUSINESS in public. 50 put Dre and Em in an unfair and difficult situation. This could have been handled in a positive way."

   As far as Hot 97 goes, the Hip-Hop Coalition (consisting the likes of Afrika Bambaataa, M1 of Dead Prez and Roxanne Shante) are rallying against the station claiming that Hot 97 advocates violence. Citing the recent incident and the Lil Kim shootout, they believe that Hot 97 has been playing an active role in watching the drama unfold. "The violence is sensationalized," M1 of Dead Prez said to Rolling Stone, "and I think more than anything they intend to benefit from it."A spokesman from the station responded to the claims saying that they have been targeted unfairly...

   "It's interesting that they single out Hot 97. Why not the artists that make the music, the record labels that produce the records, the record stores that sell them and then the consumers that buy them? The spokesman told Rolling Stone "Hot 97 has been number one in the eighteen-to-thirty-four-year-old demographic for close to ten years, so obviously there are a whole lot of people that enjoy the station and feel differently. We only play what's out there: If the violence didn't exist in the song, they wouldn't hear it on Hot 97."

Yeah, i have a feeling we won't be hearing much from him anymore.  I noticed when he came back, people took it upon themselves to put his posts up on other websites/forums, even though he asked many times before not to that.  I dont remember it being a problem back when he was posting here a couple of years ago.  Lack of respect, i guess

Its the name all these other sites r thinking its thee mel-man. I think mellowman is smart in what he puts out and that these other people cant manipulate or run away with what hes saying. So hopefully he dont get pissed off and leave.

Anything reported from a reliable source on the net will always be mentioned by various websites. Its a habit most sites seem to have.
