Like most things you judge America on, You don't know the whole story. A passerby stopped and helped the cop radio an ambulance. From what I remember, he had broken legs and a broken pelvis.

I said "Only in the States" to cause some drama and hit nerves..

They pass several seconds later, there's enough time to stop, or at least pull over behind the crashed cars.

It would be interesting to know how many cars passed by without stopping before someone eventually stopped.

I was talking to a Norwegian dude who currently lives in Miami today, and he said that Americans on the road are crazy, "they don't use signals, they make sudden lane switches, they drive like their 2 hours late, and to get a drivers license all you need to know is the difference between the gas pedal and the brake."

He bragged about the crazy cheap cars, and the even cheaper gas.

Yeah, the last thing you want to do when somebody is seriously injured is to cause a queue.. people would be pissed if they have to stop or slow down.
