not a bad batting order. Figgins is a starter now over Kennedy, though I still like Kennedy because if those 3 home runs against the Twin in 2002. Finley is now in Guillen's place, which is not an improvement in talent, but it improves the clubhouse greatly. Cabrera over Eckstein is a great improvement, and Quinlan in place of Glaus adds consitancy to a place where the Angels always worried about injuries. McPherson is the back up for now, and his a nice player that will do great things. If Anderson stays healthy, Angels win the AL West again, no problem.

D. Erstad, 1B
C. Figgins, 2B
V. Guerrero, RF
G. Anderson, LF
J. Rivera, DH
O. Cabrera, SS
S. Finley, CF
B. Molina, C
R. Quinlan, 3B
J. Washburn, SP

Kennedy and Mcpherson are injured and will start when they are healthy over Figgins and Quinlan

Do not underestimate the Oakland A's.  Chavez will have his MVP type year, they added bullpen depht which they lacked in in 2004 and cost them the division title, and although they did lose Hudson and Mulder(who posted a 7.something ERA in the second half) Harden is improving and Zito will bounce back from last year's dissapointment.

I was at the Big A on tuesday, as I am every openening day in Anaheim. I was hoping they'd give Vlad his MVP Trophy though. Ah well. Colon was on point after the 2nd inning, and Mr. MVP did his thing as usual. Although our team is a bit weaker than last season, the rest of the West is pretty awful when you break it down. Texas' and Seattle's starting pitching won't hold up for the whole season, and I'll be suprised if Oakland even wins 80 games. The A-Team got it on lock in the '05.

so ur saying that As are going to be a sub 500 team?  They will win at least 90 games, barring any major injures to the staff, Kendall or Chavez

lol ok cool...their young pitching staff is only going to improve, they covered their hole in C by adding Kendall, and they added 180 innings of bullpen depht with Cruz, Kalero and bad ass rookie Huston Street.  Swisher the rookie of the year is off to a great start and although Crosby is injured Ginter is their to back up since they do have 3 great 2b.  This team is underrated big time

That reminds me...I need to start buying some angels tickets
Being a LAKER is a privilige. Unfortunately some "Lakers" have forgotten that.

Los Angeles Lakers
Anaheim Angels
