What happened to Sir Mix A Lot???

Does anyone know what happened to Sir Mix A Lot? Some of his older albums were pretty good and borderline classics (ok - I may be reaching!). He did do a lot of his own production and Posse on Broadway is somewhat a hip hop classic. Last I saw of Sir, he was making an album with some washed up rock band. I guess that it didn't sell well. I liked him back in the day and thought maybe he had some more hits in him, I guess not. He was from Seattle, but I guess people dont' think of him as a classic west coast artist.

Yeah, definitely dope. Posse on Broadway, Beepers, National Anthem, My Hooptie, fuck it, even Buttermilk Biscuits. I think Baby Got Back got him the most success, but also killed his career. It alienated the fans that made him go consistently gold and platinum before, and he couldn't repeat that same fast club dance track vibe again to the same level of success. That album after Mack Daddy is full of that shit.

What about Kid Sensation? I heard he had a song for Ichiro or some sh*t, and changed his name to Xola Malik. I still bump Back to Boom and that Rollin' With Number One album every once in awhile...Two Minutes was dope. Come to think of it, what the hell became of Seattle rap?
