Ahh back when Kurupt wasn't much of a lyricist but could still write a good verse. Back when Nate Dogg actually sounded like he was interested in the song he was singing on. Back when the West had mad the mini (2-3 year) comeback.

This made me realize, every few years we get a new West Coast artist to blow up, but we can never get them all at one time.

Yeah the industry almost lost hip hop as a whole back when Death Row was running things. We weren't going to give it back until it all fell apart. Nice chill track, I thought Shade was going to put up good numbers after this dropped but they waited too long to drop the album.

I've always viewed 2002 as the year everything suddenly stopped and got worse on the West
