Just heard murs 3:16 9th edition and Hittman's hittmanic verses

murs IS the west coast Lupe Fiasco: a new younger hungry cat who understands  and respects the legacy of his region but is skillfully trying to put creative songs together. 9th wonder is also very creative and did a good job at creating a west coast sound that wasn't so funk dependent. good to hear that he's working with bishop lamont.

Hittman=the dopest dre protege since Eminem. I think he's way better than Bishop, Game and Slim the Mobster. it's a fuckin' shame this album didn't drop on the Math. songs like front page, let shit go, the hiznit, bloww, and others are just amazing. Hitt is a lyricist and a flower and the production on this record is unstoppable.

thoughts on these records?

would stuff like this fit better in album review?

to me the beats are amazing funk and Hitt just rips shit to shreds with some sick Knoc appearances. what more could a west coast fan want?

a sequel to a doggystyle classic (the shiznit) with the hiznit (though not dre produced, sounds like it is, probably another dope ass dre trained producer) ? got it

Hittman is indeed dope. I also like him better then Em & Bishop. But I have a good feeling on Slim Da Mobster, so im'a wait on him. I like Knoc better (another dre protege) but only because he is my fav rapper. Hitt would of had a chance to be "my knoc" if he dropped something

I like Em as much as I like Hitt and i think that Bishop and Slim and Game are dope but i just don't think bishop/slim/Game are as good as em/snoop/xzibit/nwa +doc/knoc/hitt.

No new Dre beats,it's like the freestyle Em did over classic Dre beats. From what I remember he raps over chin check,g thang and some other shit,you know where to find the track list.

word, i'm still down. i love that em freestyle.
