I'm still wondering - why is it 40 dollars?

Did they have to pay for the studio time?
Did they have to pay for some big stars' guest appearances?
Did they have to pay for some top producers' beats?

Now I'm reading it's CD-R's with no artwork. 

OFTB is getting the money from this shit. And as far as your questions above, they didnt get shit from DR, they paid, trust me....and  some of the producers are Johnny J, Kurupt, Tyrone Wrice, Sam Sneed, and J-Flexx I believe. This aint no bootleg, OFTB themselves put this shit out playa.

That's my point.
Why do they charge 40 dollars if they didn't have to pay for anything except burning CD-R's and designing their website?

to make money man...simple as i think...plus there was obviously costs like the pressing etc.

and also that track is edited and sumthing else (cant remember wat) was cut off mid-verse....
