I'm not sure about this and I'm just wondering if anybody knows. If a lower seeded team beats a higher seeded team in the playoffs, when they advance do they also overtake the higher seeded team's homecourt advantage? Say for instance the 8th seed eliminates the 1st seed, does the 8th seed gain the homecourt from them?

well, it would only benefit the lower seeds in the first round. After that, the higher seeds could snatch it from them too

well, it would only benefit the lower seeds in the first round. After that, the higher seeds could snatch it from them too

alright, how bout this. If the lower seed wins the series....they take the higher seeds seeding in the next round. BUT, all the games get played on the higher seeds home floor.
