1. a magic square is a square grid of distinct numbers in which the sum of the numbers along each row, column, and major diagonal is the same number.  arrange the counting numbers from 1 to 9 in a 3 by 3 grid to form a magic square

Get a row of 3 numbers which add to 15.
Then do the first column with the 2 gaps (you should already have the first number).

You SHOULD be able to fill in the rest.
